1 week

I can’t exactly believe my 1 week of rest is almost over. It’s almost like I slept through most of it. That, and watched a few episodes of Grey’s Anatomy season 5. Mmmm Dr McSteamy Sloan.

Made my rest time worthwhile cuz I met up with a couple of friends, one of whom I almost lost touch with. And my mother’s happy that someone could go grocery shopping with her. 🙂

And yesterday I also had dinner with my primary school class.  It was weirdly familiar and occasionally embarrassing because of the pieces of details raked up from people’s memories. Oh the things we do pre-puberty. It’s also nice how we could still talk to each other as though class was just dismissed yesterday. Makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Tomorrow I’ll be attending the first wedding among all my friends at my age. Quarter of a century old and married! Had an interesting conversation as well on the way home yesterday about relationships, love, marriage, etc. I think we came to one conclusion: don’t marry for the wrong reasons. The only good reason is that you want to (for the men) be ready to assume responsibility of taking care of the wife (and kids) for life or (for the woman) stick to one man because you know you won’t need any other for a very long time to come.

Age, family, life and death; we could go on forever if I talk about this here.  I think I’ll keep this short and sweet and leave the pondering to perhaps another time.

    Anyway, was thinking,

“I think we came to one conclusion: don’t marry for the wrong reasons. I don’t think what you said for the guys is a “reason” for marriage, but more a basic criteria. In other words, if you can’t fulfill that, get outta here. Don’t even think about it. Haha.

But indeed. Age, family, life and death. Way too much to talk about. Some other time then. ^_^
